Mort Friedman is a well-known developer, trial attorney and senior partner at Friedman Collard law firm in Sacramento. With his wife Marcy, Friedman helped resurrect the Arden Fair mall, spurring development in the capitol region. An active member of Sacramento’s Jewish community, Friedman is twice past-president of the Mosaic Law Congregation. He is a member of the Governor's Blue Ribbon Panel on Hate Groups, Director and Former Vice President of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee National Board, and founded World of Difference, a public school program.
Mr. Friedman was recognized for his efforts as a recipient of the National Society of Fund Raising Executive's Outstanding Philanthropists award, and honored by both the California Trial Layers Association and the Sacramento Bar Association as each organization’s “Lawyer of the Year.” His generous philanthropy has funded numerous programs, organizations and endowments across the region.
